MIQRA INSTITUTE SEMINARS


MIQRA conducts quarterly seminars that are pitched at the graduate level and are intended for serious-minded students and teachers of Bible, including but not limited to pastors, campus ministers, Christian school teachers, Sunday school teachers, small group leaders. Since the seminar sessions correspond to the respective MIQRA journal articles, participants are encouraged to interact thoughtfully with that material prior to the seminar.

These four-hour seminars are conducted from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on the last Saturday morning of the first month of each quarter (see dates below).

Please read the journal prior to the seminar.

The cost per seminar is $50.00 (married couples $75). Certificate students pay $125. Make checks payable to The MIQRA Institute

This seminar will be conducted by guest presenter and good friend of MIQRA,
Dr. Heath Thomas, Assistant Professor of Old Testament and Hebrew
at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wake Forest, North Carolina. Heath recently completed his doctoral research on the Book of Lamentations
at the University of Gloucestershire in the UK.
