Sepharim ‘al ha-Miqra’ ("books about the Scriptures") is offered as a guide to biblical study tools (principally introductions and commentaries) for those engaged in Bible teaching ministries, not specialist research. Sepharim provides a selective list, not a complete bibliography; and volumes are arranged alphabetically by authors’ last names, not by order of preference. Most of the titles are relatively recent works available in English.

Sepharim is organized according to the divisions of the Jewish and Christian Scriptures– the Pentateuch, the Prophets, the Writings, and the
New Testament–with volumes of general introduction followed by individual book commentaries and monographs.
