This is a four-hour seminar on interpreting Genesis and living and proclaiming its message.

The goal toward which we’ll work at the far end of the second semester will be the ability to read, translate, and describe the various grammatical features in basic Hebrew narratives.

My plan is to read through the book of Ruth over the Summer, and we will adjust our pace as necessary.

The course will approach the study of an original biblical language from the perspective of worship expressed through reverent and responsible attention to the ends of transformation and proclamation.
